My  FORD 2N tractor

This small tracteur, was created in 1939 by FORD in USA, after an hand sake agreement between M. FORD and FERGUSON Harry, inventor of the hydraulic system FERGUSON. 

His type 9N become  2N in 1942, after the supply shortages during WW2; it was delivered  without lighting, with iron wheels and a magnéto. 

At this time, plan MARSHALL,  for helping Europe after the war it was delivered, in France, John Deere A and B, Farmall H and others Massey-Harris tractors.

My Dad bought in 1947 this FORD 2N tractor, sérial N° : 9N273634, and named it "Le Petrat"

Rebuilding 

This tracteur, after 40 working years, stay in a barn and was in quit good condition. 

To use it as transporting and lifting equipment, I start to rebuild it.

I start with mécanical rebuilding.

Look at the hood witch was in very bad condition, also the front grid was lost. By chance I found an old grid and a friend of mine, Mario can repare the hood.

Mécanically it was not difficult, the only trouble was find parts, With Internet I found quickly adresses, where I can buy spares parts.

  Perat is exactly as it was 52 years ago.   My father is very astonished.

I made some improvments and build some implements.
