
Consider
a close pipe, the close end is heated, and the other end is cooled.
In this cylinder it is a "Displacer" like a piston witch allow
to let air around it.
Below this displacer, it is a piston well adjust on the cylinder and on
the displacer rod.

At the beginning displacer is in upper position, the piston in lowest
position.
1 to 2 Compression. Piston go up and increase the air pressure.
2 to 3 Heating.
Displacer go down, pushing air in hot room, air get more pression.
3 to 4 Power période.The pressure push the oiston and give power.
4 to1 Cooling.
Displacer go up, go down in the cold room.
